Celebrating Andrea Palladio (1508-1580) at 500 His Years in the Veneto and Venice and the 16th Century Northern Italian Renaissance in Northern Italy through its Music, Architecture, Landscape, Villas, and Gardens

The Veneto-Venice Music Week Festival marks the culmination of a two celebration through music and the arts by Palladium Musicum, Inc., commemorating the 500th year of the birth of Andrea Palladio, the great Italian Renaissance architect.

Throughout the Festival week, experts in architecture, musicians, instrumentalists, and composers from three countries – Italy, England, and the United States, will gather at Palladio’s Villa Saraceno for a series of events, musical concerts, and lectures.

The week will feature the premiere of three musical compositions by noteworthy Italian composers, in honor of Palladio at 500. Programs will be offered in the Veneto region at Palladio’s villas and in Venice. Lectures will examine Palladio’s life and legacy, emphasizing his contributions to the Veneto region and Venice
